I had the exact same thoughts as Tim’s wife did, felt some of the transitions too abrupt. I also felt the shower drain out of place almost like a stain on a good presentation.

While we are on a video topic, can i have your thoughts on this video i did?

A7SIII+Weebil-S(Gimbal) and Mavic Pro 2

Very professional. Looks fantastic. I actually enjoyed the slow pace with contrasted by the abrupt high speed transitions, though I can appreciate it could be jarring to others. What I like is that your video enhances feelings of excitement about a possible real estate purchase.

I can’t relate with Tim’s thoughtful optics concerns regarding the sink/shower running in the midst of a drought since it has been raining almost every day where I am, but I can say it was my least favorite part of the video. The pool waterfall is awesome though.

I need that pool right now! :)

thanks for the feedback. i agree with you and your wife. thanks for taking the time to watch it and found something worth noting for my next video. as for the running water, i agree with you but i only did it in like 10secs each.

for the pool water that's pouring over, it's so cool. the water goes into a filtration system and goes back into the pool.

The pool is cool. ;-)a

personally, i don't like transitions but i know many love to add transitions. I based it on movies. Most movies have hard-cut transitions.

Regarding the balcony shot in between the dining and kitchen shot, I agree but i didn't know where to add it when i edited the video. the agent specifically asked me to not miss that shot. i just don't know where to put it. haha. maybe before i started going to the dining/kitchen shot?

I feel like a snapshooter compared to all you video experts.
But at my age snapshooting is fine by me.

cool video, pool is mesmerizing

technically, it seems a bit noisy and soft

one of the early drone shot was low contrast

there seems to be some jutter, feels like 24p issues?

the water sound was a little abrupt, could use a fade in fade out.

speed ramps could use a little motion blur, the shot over the pool was amazing, feels like you're about to jump in

Thanks for all the cc Charlie. Appreciated. I normally shoot 60p then reduce to 40% speed in post.

cool, love doing that as well, thought you might be doing 120 indoors. most of your gimbal footage is ridiculously smooth

Episode 31 is online now...it has been a little over 2 months since my last confession....er...video. In this one...i even spare everyone the sound of my voice, not one word was spoken!

Travis, just got round to watching this just now, really enjoyed it. The music chosen went well and I liked how you flipped to B&W in the footage to compliment the B&W images you took. I didn’t even notice it changing at first and had a realisation moment part way through. I like the car footage either side too as it gives a sense of the journey/trip, the drive then the walk to find the subjects to shoot. Nicely done

Not the best weather for a picture, but a great view from Camden Hills State Park or Camden Harbor. Lots of boats! (4 shot stich)

Here's a selfie I took of me today.. My beard is getting a bit long and I'm starting to look like one of my ancestors.

I hope my Samsung phone has a Sony sensor.

Gene, good to see you! Don't worry about the beard at all. Long or short! What matters is that you will eventually go back to your normal activities and be well and healthy. That's what I personally care about.
Take care!

Thanks Renata. Here's the ancestor I was thinking about regarding my beard. He was my 2nd great grandfather.
