Some Photoshop fun after a recent visit to the local Narrow Gauge Museum in Alna Maine, the Wiscasset, Waterville, and Farmington Railway Museum. They aim to represent the railroad as it was in the early 1900s.

I'm not sure they had boots like what the engineer is wearing those days, but otherwise it does look so.

Hows this, both the blue and white ones are RS2000. These 2 finished first and second, both of them were really trying for the win.

Yes I've swam there. Such a beautiful place.
Love the shot with the solo gull. Brings out the expansiveness of that viewscape.
Of course the water color there is just dreamy.

So many good things about this photo, but for me the draw is the boat ramp the people are standing on and how it leads
into the water. Just a killer leading line.

Poof took the sister in law and brother in law out in the canoe. I took a nap.
They saw two Ospreys close, two GBH's, and two Kingfishers. This on Saturday.
I went out Sunday afternoon and saw nothing :(

But I did find this moribund moth.

Last night I started the planning for my return to DVNP...February 2022...I will be taking a friend who has never been, and right now, the plan is to do the trip in a 4x4 camper van, off grid, off road, more remote. I am beyond excited...the last year has been so incredibly difficult, that it will be nice to get on the road...

Thanks a lot man. It's just down the road from me and that was my first time there despite my love of photographing things in the sea. I spent the hour before high tide looking for interesting new angles but when I settled down to take the usual shot that everyone takes, those people appeared and posed almost perfectly.

Right place, right time :)
