Stunning!

This image just exudes stillness, quiet, at the next level, with exactly the right composition, amount of details, and plane of focus, IMO anyway..

Absolutely stunningly beautiful!

Kind regards, Wim

Oh my word - thank you for that rather superb feedback. It was a beautiful morning and I wish I had taken my kayak to Ireland with me

Really exceptional !

And it looks like he's trying to decide if you'd be more tasty with a BBQ sauce or with ketchup.

A few attempts at shooting hummingbirds. Even 1/2000 is not enough to stop their wings!

Maybe I don’t get used to the fixed f11 after extending the lens the images still be blurred? Any other advices. Thank you.

If you get the error message you need to extend and lock the lens.

Need more info as far as blur…

What are your settings? F/11 obviously fixed, what mode are you in? Do you have the IS on or off? What are you shooting? Post a pic with EXIF info as an example.

When I am using the RF 800mm I usually go to Manual, set a fixed shutter based on subject (1/250 or faster), and set ISO to “Auto”.

Shooting a static subject I have handheld the 800mm at 1/10 sec and been blur free. Combination of lens and body IS is amazing.

Loved seeing a young rhino that still had a horn a few days ago. In this part of the world their horns are removed fairly early because of out-of-control rhino poaching.
