not going to say its my BEST, but its sharp, clean, decently lit blah blah blah..

local HS's marching band portraits for the band's annual scrapbook-yearbook. prints also available to the parents and grandparents for Christmas presents etc...

120 images in about 35 minutes, and with them nearly perfect SOOC, about 35 minutes adjusting for shadows, saturation, cropping and straightening. i could make some good money if people actually wanted to buy prints (i dont sell very many of them. lots and lots of iPhones and the like floating around...

besides, i use this 24-70 for a LOT of things and i get to post in this forum now!!!

Your mottled background reminded me of the last time I went to visit my sister, and my nieces gymnastics photos had just arrived. I turned to her and said I wasn't leaving without re-taking the shot!

On my last day of my visit. I made a space in their garage, and got her older brother to sit on a chair so he was roughly the same height to set up the lights, while she was getting changed. She stepped in and pulled exactly the same pose as before.. I told her to point her foot out and bam, shot done. :)

I believe there is 5 months between the shots..

DEFINITELY did a better job of lighting her. if the original image was farther from the background the original would have looked better but there are more elements about it that are just 'off'...

Not sure where this goes but can someone fix this? Remove sun from faces and her jacket? And tell me how you do it? Thanks in advance.
