Cannot Print on my Canon Pixma Pro 200

Hello all
I not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this but here goes.
My Pixma pro 200 has been working fine up until today then all of a sudden wouldnt print at all. I use canons professional print and layout software through Lightroom. Now when I try to print I get the message 'error please check your printers operation panel. The panel shows no faults or anything out of the ordinary. I can still print through my phone and directly through the Lightroom print module. I have deleted the software and reinstalled but same issue. Im at my wits end. I have contacted Canon but don't expect a reply soon.

Im not really up to speed with all of this stuff so am wondering if anyone can offer any insight into this type of problem. If I haven't offered enough info, sorry.

Canon Customer Support has been very helpful to me on past occastions (trying to sort thru an issue that was actually caused by antivirus software!...I removed antivius, notified the company which refunded me on the recent payment I had made for antivirus!) Canon spent lots of time with me on the phone trying to figure out the problem.

Thank you for the reply Wilt. Thats good to hear. I have sent support an email, will see if they reply. On my next day off I will look into it further.

If an option, call them on the phone, not e-mail. Here in the US we have phone support for CPS Members and the general public.

Canon is going to suggest you update the driver. To be one step ahead of the game go to https://www.usa.canon.​com …200?tab=drivers​_downloads and select your operating system and then reinstall the driver. Reboot the computer, then retest.
