Early morning cyclists in the Arizona desert...trying to beat the heat. The background would normally be brown and dry this time of year but we've had the most rainfall ever recorded in the Phoenix area this summer!

Went to the local BMX track this last weekend to practice shooting. Local homegrown racing starting up again. Trying to get ready for Sea Otter (cancelled last year).

Panning and shooting with a flash (when it works) always get good results:
