I got better shots of the Blues on practice day as they flew earlier and there were clouds.

I’ve mentioned this before, but I feel so lucky to have watched the construction of the full-scale mockup of the fuselage (in plywood!) of this amazing aircraft as it was being designed during my three years working at Douglas Aircraft/McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach.

I'm mainly here for the snacks

Duncan the Dragonfly is a VERY interesting aircraft. Well done presenting it with all of your different photos here & in your gallery.

Duncan the Dragonfly; sounds like a good name for a children's book. Or an aircraft photographer!

He was at the Abingdon airshow yesterday too, as was the Hurricane. The less said about my attempts to capture this lovely example, the better. If I had to say anything, "experimentally artistic" would be my reply.

They both came to us after displaying at Abingdon. Here a few more from yesterday. Spitfire TE311 of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Texan of the Navy Wings Historic Flight.
