Reviving an old thread...

It's a little different seeing industry like this in the middle of farms. As the starting materials are fairly bulky compared to the products, it makes sense to move the finished products rather than the starting materials. Some of the products are used locally.

Green Plains makes corn oil, biofuels, protein, industrial alcohols, animal feed, and other products here.

Those settlement ponds look yucky.
Once that would have gone strait into that waterway!

Hi, yes, it is. I see mostly coal and grain cars on those rails.
