Full on Sun for this experiment.
2.0TC+100400+7c.
Very happy combo for lightweight reach/weight/sharpness.
I said a long time ago my 2.0 is sharper than my 1.4. I need
to get another 1.4 and compare.
The 1.4+200600 lived on the a9.
On the alpha I notice the deficit=nothing topaz can't deal with though.

Lee, no experience with Pro-Mist. Looking forward to example.
I missed wonderful opportunity last night. Best skies ever and I was down in bed.
This neck-flying drill fiasco (it ripped 1/2 my beard off my face) has worn me down.
Best thing yet was the doc trephining a ton of fluid out of it...made me promise light duty
for a week and nothing 'dirty' :(
Anyway I had the redcat on the a1 minus grip, all on the MSM. Would have been idea for
a stacking of the Trifid.
Humans are so fragile :(

Anyway the Junco at 800mm via the 7c

I can certainly relate to that. It's amazing to me just how quickly things can change.

Here's hoping you heal quickly.

A9ii is the best camera I’ve ever used. With my kids (always fast moving like most kids) I wouldn’t have nailed half the shots I get with my a7r3

TRhoads wrote in post #19282443 (external link)
I remember getting the a9i and loving it for family stuff..lower resolution and stupid fast and accurate AF. I still reach for it for the family stuff....

Thanks fellas. Makes me feel better that I’m on the right thought process. Now the waiting game. I want to see what comes of the A74 and how it will compare against the almost 2 year old A92 when it’s announced. Should be interesting as Sony has to respond back at that 2,500 USD price point that canon is currently sitting in with the R6. I don’t mind paying up for a camera but don’t want to pay 4,500 for an A9II that is that far removed from release.

You should check used prices. I got my a9ii for £2400 lightly used and mint condition vs RRP £4500

I purchased a mint used A9ii too and it saved me bundle.

Needed to get out and get use to the new cameras. Funny, I been paying so much attention to reading and watching Youtube on how to use the Sony A7rIV that when I took that picture of my son I realized I didn't know how the flash works. Oh well, more reading at bedtime for me. :)

Just remember this helped me out a lot when I first got the A7RIV. It’s a free guide from Sony ambassador Mark Galer. Just scroll to the bottom.

FYI it’s one of the most beautifully done guides for a camera I have ever seen. 300+ pages of tips.

Thanks fellas I’ve seen a mint one go for as low as 2,900 USD. Which is not bad at all.

So the S all Rib L bracket arrived today. The new doors on the A1 are hinged, so they require room to open. With the bracket at its closest fit, they don't open. I will have to see if the RRS handles this better. I am not a fan of leaving the bracket extended and don't want to move it every time I need to access the ports.

That’s a really great image with a 2xTC.
Neck-flying drill fiasco!!!! Seems a very close shave. Being a handyman tool user myself I hear you! Have had a few close shaves with an angle grinder. Careful. Hope you get back to normal soon.

I use the A7R4/A9II RRS bracket on the A1, I can open the right hand doors ( USB-C and HDMI ports ) with the Vertical bracket fully up against the body with no problem, the left hand doors are not accessible unless I pull the vertical section out, which is fine by me they are ports that I would never use. I haven't seen the new RRS A1 bracket but honestly the one I am currently using is more than fine.

Shot some shrooms on my hike yesterday. I was hoping that there would be more out but the weather has been a little on the dry side so they were far and in between.

So the small one for the micro USB is still stuck?
It is the same LPlate for all those cameras...and that is what is out of stock...
