Rose-breasted Grosbeak currently are migrating through the area. Here are two different first-year males.

Another fine warbler shot. They're rare vagrants around here, but one showed up a few days ago and I got a quick look. I want to get back to try for a pic, but there have been some other rare birds to chase. Got lucky today with a Nelson's Sparrow that's been up at Tahoe for a few days.
