They are competing tonight, so there will be some shots as they compete, and then we are going to do some team pictures and some with their sponsors gear. I want to do some creative stuff with a strobe but we will stage those, I don't want it to be distracting while they are officially playing.

So I start reviewing all the info you guys furnished on shooting the Milky Way and think, I need to look at the moon phase after watching the first video. We are leaving Sunday for the dark skies of west Texas. Full moon is Monday.

I didn't plan the trip around the moon but could have. Maybe there will be enough less toward the end of the trip, nine days, to try.
Yes, Moon phase is really key...it needs to not be visible.
