If you use an iPhone or iPad there was a high security update released on 09/13/2021. It applies to the following devices. More can be read at https://support.apple.​com/en-us/HT201222 (external link)

iPhone 6s and later, iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation)

1 note for iPhone 6s users... mine wouldn't update via my Mac until i put the phone in airplane mode.
