Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Curve/Curvature/Curves. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

So this week, show us some Curves, or maybe the Curvature of the Earth or Moon, or just some Curves.

Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them) but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES
That's it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.
An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it!
Have fun!

I know it's boring but the only curves I've shot today are my 2 new wallets I made in lambskin. More curves inside it :)

Because the challenge for this week is a shape I challenged myself in shooting in Black and White since it lays more emphasis on the shapes and the framing of the photo. I also tried my hand on 1:1 aspect ratio shooting which normally never do, and I have to say that I like it! Since I could not choose between these two which I liked best I post them both:

In old city's a curve or an arch in your building above windows or doors was seen as fancy and decorative. You also showed that you had the wealth to implement these intricate shapes in your building:

An old bridge with a curve for structural purposes:

I chose B&W for the reason masterwillems did: it's all about shape this time.

Lamb bone, cleaned up after it contributed its essence to the stew
