I sometimes send my pix to regional ITV for the weather forecasters. They used this one tonight, which is quite satisfying. I've found that they tend to use what I think are relatively ordinary shots, but of course this one does show the weather, which is what it's all about. Grabbed this screenshot on my phone.

I was lucky in that I knew which direction that sneak pass was coming from. Otherwise I might have missed this, and with the second day cancelled I would have been pretty disappointed!

The 100-500L + 1.4x extender is constantly proving to be one of my favorite combinations for large insects like butterflies. Add in the built-in focus bracketing and stabilization of the R5 and I have been able to get 20 shot stacks, hand-held, down to 1/40th of a second. Something I never would have thought I would be doing a little over a year ago!
