This colourful Rainbow Lorikeet landed in the Mango Tree in the field behind our house after taking a bath in the water dish in our back garden.

Cheers

Awesome
Really puts "a riot of colour" into proper perspective.

Thanks Richard, we sometimes get 10 or 12 of these entertaining birds sitting on the back fence, waiting for me to fill up the water dish, again and again...:-) Luckily we have a 5,000 Litre raintank.:-)

Cheers

Dennis

The Magpie geese had made a nest, and finally after 5 week there are the new ones. The photo is not so good, but the light was harsh.

No, there are still 4 eggs but I don't think they will hatch, it's too late now. The others are doing fine, I can't see them very well, they are hiding between the plants in the lagoon.

Today I happened to see the Magpie Geese walking from one pond to another. There are 10 goslings and 5 adult geese. The eggs left on the nest won't hatch, they left it nearly a week ago.

Beautiful to see.
They're colourful and cute little ducklings.

Stunning collection of photos Clipper.
Those finches must be quite a spectacle in their natural habitat.
All very nice indeed.
