More from Pakawau Beach, NZ.
That curve of land in the distance is Farewell Spit (top of the South Island).
Pakawau is a lovely beach. That's about as big as the waves get normally (ie. about 100mm high waves, or 4" if you scorn metrics).
Nice and safe for the Grandies to be let loose!
