Won by a single point and they had a lot of chances to win - which I am sure their coaching staff will have been telling them on the bus home.
Also winter is coming as the lights were on for the second half !!

I have 40-150 (80-300 in 35mm terms) and never use my 300 (600 in 35mm) F4. I pitch side..in fact got hit by a tackled player sliding into touch. Thankfully neither of us were hurt !,

I was pitch side years ago, felt a tremor and wondered "what's that then?". Turns out it was a four man collision heading my way that eventually hit and bent my monopod in to a right angled piece of scrap

Horrible weather for rugby yesterday. Didn’t do much shooting, camera shutting down again. New body so must be the lens. A couple of shots below.

Couple of images from 2nd half of Saturday's all-Ireland league match between Ballynahinch and Clontarf. Never find it easy to pick up a game half way through as I prefer to be there early, get a good position and get a feel for the action develops. Saturday I was covering hockey and rugby at two different venues, with both events starting at the same time, so it was a case of rolling up the sleeves and getting stuck in.

But a good win in the end.... even with them trying to stop our players seeing what was going on !!

Two of last weekend, taken in RAW and processed as it was a moisty morning and the sun was rising just above the trees behind the posts pointing towards the camera (I chose position based on the team I want to face me, rather than the sun ;-)a ).

Thank you, it is one of those moments that FPS does make some difference (I shot mechanical shutter btw).
