They are great. I wonder what year they are from? I drove through Sevenoaks, where they were printed, on Sunday on my way down to the South Coast.

I'd say probably mid 1920's as that tallies with a painting of Dads in same lot of cards etc.

I looked up that business and see there's countless cards featuring these even upto the Silver Jubilee, but these definitely not that era

A Lockheed Electra 12 I believe. A slightly later version than the Electra 10 flown by Amelia Earhart when she disappeared on her round the world flight in 1937.

Li-2 (licensed copy of DC-3) at the Museum Of Great Patriotic War, Moscow. Named after the main works engineer B.P. Lisunov after previously being designated the PS-84.
