Aurora Borealis over Northern Canada entering vast Atlantic Ocean going Eastbound...
Not super sharp but for this 1 second exposure it was a challenge with the turbulence there...

Thank you.
It was very bleak in fact. You could clearly distinguish it, but I had to dim all the instrument lights to the minimum level (barely visible ) to be able to get those Northern lights.

Cheers
Dom

The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 (NATO code name "Fishbed") is a Soviet supersonic multirole fighter in service from the early 1960s to the present. It has been used by the air forces of more than 30 countries and is still in service in several of them. More than 10,000 of them were produced, making it the largest and longest-produced supersonic aircraft. Series production began in 1959 and ended in 1985, it has been upgraded over the years, there have been 3 generations of this aircraft. It was also produced under license in Czechoslovakia.

SNJ-4 Texan modified to look like a B5N Kate

I've seen this plane at various air shows and I now understand one reason the torpedo isn't parallel to to the fuselage to reduce drag.
I thought it was to help it separate cleanly when dropped.
