The Mrs. has been asking me when we're going to open this bottle. I keep saying when I am happy with the shot. LOL.

My goal was to replicate the Old Forrester B-day release picture.

I had a Smooth Amber Old Scout in hand at $25 originally. I asked the sales guy what his thoughts were and he suggested I try this Old Barton at $14, I may be surprised. Wasn't expecting it to be like the 1792 line, does share a bit of similar character but thinner.

Thanks. We were pretty surprised how nice this was for the price. The Kirkland BiB release was very tasty at $24/1L. I haven't had the Barton 1792 release to compare though.
