Thanks Alfredo. I have indeed been considering that one. It appears to be a truly awesome monitor, but I’m stumbling a bit over its lack of a Thunderbolt connection and its chunkier less-refined product-design aesthetics. Price is also giving me some pause. That said, unlike the other model, the SW321c has impressive coverage of the Adobe RGB color space, and that’s a big deal for us photo-editors.

I think its now down to these two benQ monitors now and I’ll continue researching.

That's a bummer that it doesn't have Thunderbolt. Here is Albert's review of it. Regardless of which specific model you get, I would say BenQ monitors are a great option.

Beautiful artistry Alfredo. Brilliant framing. The light is exquisite.

Truly appreciate it David. Thank you!

I have the BenQ SW320 - an earlier version of the SW321c you're considering. I can't speak to the aesthetics, but can speak to BenQ standing behind their warranties. My SW320 developed a thin vertical line in the display at month 35 of their 36 month warranty. They replaced it promptly.

I looked at the specs of both these monitors, and they are very similar, I think I would go for the SW321C, I have used BenQ monitors for years and not had any issue with them.

A scouting trip of sorts to the sand dunes in Colorado from last year. I definitely need to return for an overnight stay dedicated to photography here.

Definitely! The dunes there are different than Mesquite Sand Dunes. Hard to describe but not as smooth and harder to walk on. Thanks buddy.

Sounds great about the battery life. I watched most of Mark Galer’s a1 video. Impressive camera for sure.

I'm still here :-)

I've been pretty slammed at work because two people on my team in the busiest time of of the year for us (budget planning time). The great resignation is a real thing.

I had the typical summer photography lull. November and December booked up with fall shoots real fast, but am for the most part just shooting family stuff these days. I've been filling the creative void in my life with the guitar and have been having lots of fun with it.

Good thing about taking a mental break from photography is that it stops GAS big time lol. I'm still really impressed with the a7c + sigma I glass.

Good hearing from you. It’s good to take these breaks every once in a while.

It’s funny seeing all the YouTubers release their Sony a7 IV videos at the same time.

Wow, you were fast!! Mine is supposed to ship between Nov 5-10. I wasn’t even clued in about today’s Apple event until I saw your post, so you broke the news for me. A big thank you for that. :)

I had previously decided to go with a maxed-out gamer PC, but had been holding out just in case Apple came through with something great. So glad I waited.

Glad I was able to help!!! Speaking of fast got this preorder in right at noon today :)

Thank you! Sometimes I feel like I’m over sharing. I guess I’m making up for taking some long breaks the past year.

Has anyone heard from Gene, Robert, or Carlo?

Your never over sharing. From someone who lives in the concrete jungle of NYC these are refreshing to see! And motivating me to head up into the Hudson valley a bit more :)

Thanks Eddie, I had a faint memory that you might have a benQ, so I really appreciate your recommendation. I’ve been looking and haven’t found a more ideal monitor than the BenQ PD monitors. I’m a little concerned about the brightness. The 32” I’m looking at is a little dimmer than your 27”, but I’m sure it’s fine.

BenQ user myself and couldn’t be happier. I think your making a fine choice.

I communicated with Robert a few days ago. He (they) are traveling right now.
