If submitting an image of someone other than yourself it cannot qualify as 'you feel alone'.

That might be the intended reaction from others for creating the image but it does not satisfy the brief.

Well, different people can react differently to the same picture. Would you accept this as suggesting loneliness even though I'm not the man in the picture?

A similar point has been raised before. One response pointed out that "you" is often used in a general sense and needn't mean the photographer. "How do you get to the courthouse?" "You go up this street here, turn right at the first stoplight, and . . ."

What if we had a thread called "Shots that make you laugh"? Then the person who had set up or observed the scene, taken the shot, and postprocessed it would likely not be laughing at the moment when the image hit the forum: that person, thoroughly familiar with the image, already knew the punchline.

Images might make some people feel alone for their own reasons and have no such effect on other viewers. A photo of your dear deceased grandparents (this is the general "you" again) might make you feel especially bereaved and alone. A photo of a group of smiling strangers having a happy time together might make you feel alone, even envious, because you're not sharing their joy. I don't think that's the kind of experience this thread is for.

It sure looks like one. Given its placement in the landscape, I want to call it Scarbucks instead.

Yes sir, that's a Starbucks logo. It's a bit tongue-in-cheek... Prada Marfa was an installation of actual art that gained a lot of popularity when the Queen B took a photo while visiting. Target Marathon (recently destroyed for safety reasons by the railroad) was a continuation of the idea, a bit a of a laugh at Marfa, and something cool in its own right. The Starbucks here in this image continues the idea although, in the case of the small town where it resides, I think is nearly pure sarcasm.

Speaking of humor, and now that I think about it, the real Starbucks will probably do something ridiculous and sue because corporations have no sense of humor, so I'm going to remove the image.

At one time that was probably a fire lookout tower.
