LtDave.
If wanting a “Studio strobe” for more power, consider the Westcott FJ system. They will work with the “Radio Communication” from your Canon ST-E3 RT Transmitter. E-TTL, Manual or Group Mode, your choice. You could put an FJ 400 or 200 in your 7ft. Umbrella and then use your existing Canon 600 EX-RT Speedlites with both the Canon and Westcott all in Radio Communication. One 600 as a rim or edge light and the other to illuminated the background.
It’s not an either or system but an integration.
More options and more flexibility.

Canon 5D Mark III (x2), BG-E11 Grips, 7D (x2) BG-E7 Grips, Canon Lenses 16-35 f/4 L IS, 17-40 f/4 L, 24-70 f/4 L IS, 70-200 f/2.8 L IS II, 70-200 f/4 L IS, 70-200 f/4 L IS Version II, 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L IS Version II, TS-E 24 f/3.5 L II, 100 f/2.8 L Macro IS, 10-22 f3.5-4.5, 17-55 f/2.8 L IS, 85 f/1.8, Canon 1.4 Extender III, 5 Canon 600 EX-RT, 2 Canon ST-E3 Transmitters, Canon PRO-300 Printer

unfortunately, the cost is way more than i can justify. Godox has a 3-light kit for about the cost of one Westcott. not that at THIS TIME, i really have great demand for any of this stuff...

this is sort of a random interjection

If you care to shoot in studio but want some portability, how about something like

Interfit Nomad battery pack
Flashpoint Blaz 300 / MS300 Godox x 2
Flashpoint 400 monolight x 1

That would run about $625 during Black Friday season and give 3 studio lights plus one or more event lights. not light-weight, but at least portable and effective.

I use MS 300 in studio for extras and enjoy them. I also have XPLOR 600 but usually shoot those about 1/32 or 1/16
