Blimey, A7iii has gone up in price on Panamoz..... I was hoping it might come down with the iv coming along

I noticed that the used market is stronger for it than I thought, since I need to sell mine that is good for me. I expected it to be flat...

If anyone feels up to it...

And on another note...I found out about an LE "Masterclass" that was on YT today, had to reserve a spot to watch, being a huge LE fan I did. I was so disappointed. I am amazed at the people who are considered masters of photography, have Major Brand backing, some decent work in their portfolio...yet they are terrible presenters. Anyway...not that I feel like I can do a great job, but I am pretty sure I could do better than what I watched for 40 minutes today.

I’ve noticed it’s hit or miss with great people across all fields. Some have the charisma to present to a large group well and others are better one on one without the structure a large group presentation needs.

agreed, I have come across people like that too...good on one end or the other...but to be putting on a worldwide "Masterclass"...one should be better than bad. Well spoken, easy to understand, clear, concise, on point...

Walking the dog in the woods and another attempt at a M.Galer shot.
A7C+Tam70300.
Focus square appeared on the face at 15-20 yards, held until MFD.
Looks well lit but was darkish, major pull in post.
A7C continues to impress for AF-C tracking. I dare say now after much time with it that it is
as good as the a9 for stickiness....EVF refresh rate as good as A7Riv. If I could only glue an extra button
and dial on it ;)

Yeah that pains me too Lee. How could Sony put top top notch tracking computer in the A7c yet put in the cheap usb-c connector.
What executives decide to do to save a penny puzzles me.

Is it not possible to use a dongle to convert the intervelometer to usb-c?

I think I would have bought one by now if that wasn't the case.

For night skies, for me....

A7 at 90sec ISO 400ish
vs
A7c at 30sec ISO 1000ish....?

Granted I'll get better DR and certainly AF but with the A7c at 90s and 400 ISO I doubt I'd even have to shoot multiple and stack images!

I'm just sitting on the fence right now, pretty undecided. Be nice to shoot MW and star trails with two bodies at the same time but, I'm waiting right now to see how (or even IF) my film star trails come out too! It's being developed as I type!

From what I gather, it will plug in and fit, but the camera doesn't have the 'connections' inside to recognise an intervalometer is even attached.
