I had photographed Claire's yearbook photos in studio a few weeks back when her mom asked about shooting in Philly. We finally got to go over and do her session, and she did not disappoint!

other than 30 years ago in the Air Force shooting officer portraits for their promotion packages, i really NEVER did portrait work. the AF stuff was simple. same pose. dont smile. same lighting. it was PRIMARILY about preparation of the officer's appearance. does the uniform fit right. is the hair in regs. are the ribbons/awards worn correctly. how about rank insignia and getting the service coat to fit tight without being constricting looking and not having any "unseemly" bulges/pops/wrinkles etc etc...

a classmate of my daughter's, mom asked if i could take some photos for her in her uniform. to help preserve the uniforms hats and plumes are "issued" before each event and then taken back in for inventory/repair etc. so they werent available for pictures at other photographers' places. i said sure...

This young lady plays four sports so I tried something different and kept the camera on the tripod and had her pose with each of her uniforms on inside the gym and then combined the four images in photoshop.
