You bet! Mainly #12-14 stimulators. Put it where a fish should be and be ready! Though not unusual to do a little nymphing in the deeper holes during midday slump...maybe a couple hrs.

This is a trip a few of us long time friends do annually (like nearly 20 years). My buddy is a working bush pilot. Each year we fly into an area, backpack a mile or two and have at it for a few days. It's just such a great time. Seems to get more special each year.

A nice Bow today on this very windy, rainy, cool day.

I love fall-Fly Fishing in Southwest Colorado. This is the famous Rio Grande river nears its headwaters outside Creede Colorado. I used my mini tri-pod and a remote to get this low angle shot.

Isn't the water freezing? You must have a high tolerance for cold. I use waders even in the summer here in the Northeast.

Yes, the water was cold. But I just ignore it. As long as its sunny out, which it is 300 plus days a years in SW Colorado, I will wet wade late in to the fall. I hate wearing bulky and cumbersome full waders and only wear wading pants when I have too...

Take this in the nicest way possible, but I don't know you and I think I hate you (can you tell I'm jealous)

Looked at your Fly Fishing gallery, beautiful photographs (just need a new model...har har har!).
That's my old stomping grounds. Use to live in Trinidad and we fished that area and Northern New Mexico.
