I found an eagle to photograph today and a kingfisher at my local park. Fun times. Also found more ice patterns.
This one is from my trip on Monday morning.

Even knowing the 5-7 trees it was in it took 20 min's of slowly doing up and down the truck at 840mm to find him. I'm sure I went over him several times before the aha moment. ![]() And my nearest neighbor ![]() That owl capture is so amazing. Showed it to my wife and she gasped. First thing she said “how did you spot the owl!” I have to say that was my same reaction as well! -Omar- Flickr

Id go with the a74 because it has the new color wb and a built in fix for focus breathing on the sony lens. 34mp should be more than enough unless you are needing the 60 :P
