rrblint Listen! .... do you smell something? More info | Dec 19, 2021 18:52 | #3812 mwsilver wrote in post #19320242 Wouldn't making a virtual copy of the image in PhotoLab, applying the Cappuccino preset to the VC, and then selectively copying the edits from the Master copy to the virtual copy resolve that issue? Sure, that would work just fine. You could also just export a TIFF or DNG with the previous work applied and then apply the preset to that inside of PL5. I just kind of like the FP6 interface and all of the information it contains about the inspiration for each preset. Mark

I was looking for a different take from what my own edit looked like so Peano's version, I liked a lot. The simplification helps the model stand out well. I also liked Mark's because it was like mine, but the eyes have it - Mozes' first edit is the winner this week. Thanks to everyone and over to you Mozes. In second place was Mark's second edit. Thanks for being anchor-man this week, Nigel Martin

rrblint Listen! .... do you smell something? More info Post edited over 1 year ago by rrblint. | Thanks Mozes. Here is this week's new challenge:
The purpose of this game is to be creative and learn new editing techniques. You must give some insight into exactly how you went about editing the image. For example, increased shadows sliders, reduced highlights, local sharpening, white balance adjustment, specific filters used, tone curve adjustments, etc. Comments and/or questions regarding the edits are encouraged. Here are a couple more RAWs from Martin's free website. HERE Choose your file(or both) and let's see what you can do. This time I promise to not bias my choice of the winner to the portrait. No doubt others could do a better composite than I can! Workflow, DxO and them PS/ACR Great job Martin. TBH, I didn't even think about combining the two entries. I was just thinking of replacing the background, maybe with a studio backdrop or some scene other than the awful one in the RAW. You accomplished that task very nicely and the landscape entry is perfectly valid as a background. You killed two birds with but a single stone! Mark
