Funny; there's a Telegraph Road here in Michigan.
While it doesn't hold the same status of a San Francisco street . . .

This Telegraph Ave. is in Oakland. Housing prices are a little less explosive than in SF.

I imagine "Telegraph" was an easy name to think of for streets under telegraph lines.

Remnants of Christmas' past.

This was a residence that was later turned into a restaurant. It was empty for at least 10 years before they tore it down this year. This is all that remains.

This may be my most heavily processed image yet. First attempt at selective color.

I live below a mountain that produces LOTS of rocks that wash downhill over the millennia. Farmers had to clear them from their fields. This was a local farmhouse; it was declared unrepairable and torn down to make room for a condo complex (they did preserve some of the other buildings, such as the barn).

I took this shot back in 2009, using two external flashes to light the farmhouse at sunset.

P.S. I believe I have solved the problem that forced some POTN members to click to see the image. If you still need to click, I'd like to know.

All I want is a 10-2000 f/0.5L with no distortion that weighs 100 grams, fits in my pocket, and costs $300. Is that too much to ask?

I am not a computer guru (sure wish I was many times!) but I would not think computer speed has anything to do with this problem.

Hopefully a real computer nerd will chip in an idea.....

I'm pretty sure I qualify as a computer nerd. Like really, really sure. I'll figure it out eventually, when I can find the time.

The tech reason for the failure was that the wizzy-wizzy-werrrre-werrrre thingy wasn't going fast enough Charles. It causes a delay in the feed back loop and falls over.

My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!
