First one was done on the Sony A7RIV and second one was an older camera a while back, Nikkon D5600.

Safe to say I fell in love with the second images colour composition. Both are edited in Lightroom, but only minor touches to keep them natural.

not a proper headshot (too much torso in the image) but my daughter's ID photo for her internship at Henry Ford Hospital...

Wasn't completely happy with the original background, so I played with it a bit. Still need to work on my PS skills more but this is a start.
Let me know what you think, all help and suggestions are always appreciated.

The photo looks pretty good to be honest - might need to smooth out the edges on santa's clothing and feather it in with the background.

I'm not a big photoshop user myself, but we all have to start somewhere. I can link you to some pretty good tutorials if you're interested.

Played around with it some more, think I may have blended the subject in with the new background better this time. My DIL wanted a fireplace for a background, my wife liked the blue snow flake background. Just can't please everyone.
Thanks for the comments.

The blend is much better on this one. If it were me I would try to make the temp of the background and foreground match. Most likely warm the temp on the headshot to match closer to the fireplace.
Just my .03 worth.
