It reminds me that Rembrandt truly was one of the greatest artists... when I look at it closely, there is such expressiveness in the eyes of every single person in that image, despite the seeming looseness of the actual technique. It reminds me that sharpness is not the be-all of good art, whether photography or otherwise. Chris

Jan 10, 2022 06:05 | #12 That’s easy to accomplish with a gigapan setup and a long lens. Instead of a single image you would have a number of tiles at various resolutions.
