Thanks Richard, yes he sings beautiful. He or she sometimes imitates a tune from television, I'm not sure which program. Here is here around the house nearly the whole day.

(one person here posted on Facebook for someone to come and rescue a Magpie caught in a tree for many hours. And offered $50 to boot. Obviously not educated in Magpie behaviour :-P )

Doesn't show too well there, but the female has dappled markings on its back feathers, male all white.
