The second shot I just wish that middle tree was all by itself. But you did great with what you had to work with! And you're not alone with the lack of motivation to get out.

Two new pictures from the same Alaska mountains as in this post https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?​p=19293193.
This time the photos was taken in the beginning of December with -36C (-32F) outside.
First photo on mid day with the sun in its highest position. Second photo one hour later with sun on its way down.
Both are JPEGs direct from the camera. I like the dynamic of the 5Dmk4 sensor.

Stirling Ranges in Western Australia. I was greatly enchanted by the elegant simplicity of the scene in this photo. I loved the subtle light, gentle tonal transitions and hazy layers of mountains in the distance.

I've loved every minute of my 5DIV since moving to from the 7DII. My favourite pairing is with the EF 85mm f1.4 IS, which produced these two recent shots.

Thanks, very kind. Well the 5DIV gets a huge thumbs up from me, for most uses. Low or extremely high/harsh light and fast action and it does struggle to acquire focus which clearly affects keeper rate, requiring multiple attempts of the same shot. However, that's why Canon also offer the 1DXIII/R3, so can't and certainly won't complain.

Love the Vizsla -- I do a great deal of photographs with my 5DIV and my German Shorthaired Pointers - in particular like that second shot!
