Martin, the first link that you posted is the link to the railway station that we did in the other thread. Second one is correct.

Dam! It should be https://u.pcloud.link …bk1sEe4bI0lVOz3a3dBXSgmrk (external link)

I'll correct my original post too.

There has been a lot on hand today - had to reset my desktop to factory settings as a roll-back from Win11 to Win10 left me with all sorts of niggling problems. Thanks to MajorGeeks it is now bullet-proof and M$ will stop nagging me to upgtrade to their all singing and dancing disaster!

The folder was filled with 7 jpg's. I used HDR Efex Pro 2 to combine all the images and then added the birds and the balloon.

Not competing, just practicing ...

Main steps in PS CS6:

  • I selectively blended the darkest and second-darkest images of the three.
  • Used the latter to add sunset glow to the side of the tower and the house; and photo filters to tint those surfaces and the beach/rocks.
  • A brightness/contrast layer to selectively darken sky and water.
  • Pasted in the fisherman and his lantern.
  • Painted window lights on a blank layer.

EDIT: added second photo for comparison.

      Madrid Palace

      1. All images in Aurora HDR > output as TIF
      2. ShiftN to correct perspective
      3. PS/ACR clean up some of the pedestrian ghosts not eliminated in Aurora

I said earlirt that I was not happy with my rendering of the Madrid Palace so here is my 2nd attempt

      1. Photomatiox (did a very good deghosting)
      2. PS/ACR > partial perspective correction > lightened palace building > resized and sharpened
