You got one! Congratulations!

As to IBIS. Are you sure it's not "Digital IS" you are seeing in that menu when a lens that has IS is mounted? Because Digital IS that is for movie recordings, not for stills.

I knew you'd know! :D

Upon further review 'yes' it has the movie camera for Digital IS. I set it to Off...so my IBIS for stills should be fine then. Correct?

A couple of heron shots from yesterday. R6 + RF 100-500.

I kind of liked this tree photo, but I'm not sure why...

I went to a nearby lake yesterday, looking for cormorants. They like to sit on the poles in an old abandoned harbour, drying their wings. I waited more than an hour but they never showed up, except one flying by at too great a distance. As I waited I watched the gulls and their shenanigans. And took a shot or two. I love how these guys quarrel and drive one another from the poles.

Here's a shot that I like.

Not the greatest, but this was the view at sun set outside my hotel window in San Diego (here for work).

Looks nice. What is that in the lower right corner? Art? A fountain? Or part of a playground?

Took the opportunity to get out with the R6 after staying mostly indoors due to a head cold (yes, just a cold). Husband had to do a thing for work and I took dog and camera. This is one of the first pictures I took with my new Samyang 85 1.4.

Thank you. It is Art work. There is a small park across the road from the hotel I stay at when on travel to San Diego. This was taken from the balcony of my room.

Ah, I thought it might be but wasn’t sure. They look like colourful snakes with big mouths. Now of course I wonder who the artist is.:-P

I've only had my R6 a couple months, and I love it. I am finding when I upload my RAW files, they are heavy on the red. Is there a way to reduce it upon import?

I don’t know if you can but wouldn’t it be a better way to correct it in camera? You can do that in the first menu, tab 3: WB Shift/Bkt.

Emma

Canon EOS R6 with Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art at 1/125 sec, f/2.8, ISO 400 with AD200 in CheetahStand 26” Quick SoupBowl on Westcott Miniboom and Neewer C stand, floating between 1/64 and 1/8 throughout session. Light was gelled with 1/2 CTS, 1/4 CTO (because I didn’t have enough CTS with me) and 1/4 + Green to match the 3210K reading on Lumu Light Meter and set camera to 3200K.
