This one from earlier in the day before the fog had lifted, 41241 leaving Keighley with the first steam train of the day.

In the second shot the train with its surroundings makes a nice composition.

Two great images Stuart, love the composition of them both. The first would be my choice to print, mainly due to the elevated shooting position.

When I was in Brazil in 2014 and 2015, a second rail to the Carajás Railroad was being built to double the amount of ore that could be transported for processing and thus enable the production of the mine to be doubled.

Saw this in the parking lot of the WW&F the other day. The truck belongs to Maine Locomotive and Machine Works, so I would guess that #3 is going for an overhaul of some kind, but I haven't seen anything on the WW&F website about it.

#3 I am guessing is the engine. To me #3 looks like a smaller engine, but hey it is very old and it is a steam engine!! Hoorah!!

I went to the Maine Locomotive and Machine Works website. Very interesting!

What is WW&F?? I did see that Maine Locomotive and Machine Works does do work for WW&F among other places I never heard of from me not being from New England I would guess.
