Nice! Colors, composition. A fairy tale picture with sculptures of . . . what? . . . meerkats? at the base.

Thanks John, That is what animal I was thinking but could not put a name to it.

If you see the Panasonic 100-400mm lens in exif it is really the Olympus 100-400 that is not in the database.

Cypress trees have what is called "knees" in their root system that stick up all over the place -- which, now that I look at the photo, do sorta look like meerkats, don't they?

Thanks. Wonder what the function of those kneees is.

I don't know anything. But I know other things.

There are differing opinions but not what I would call a consensus. Some say to get more oxygen and others say stability.

Charles, That is a splendid shot you have going there. That tree looks like some kind of animals frozen in time.

Thanks! I was thinking tree children.

Thanks! It is so interesting that Meerkats always stand up with mud on their faces looking almost guilty.

Nice picture but I'd like it more if you cropped a bit off the bottom. My eye hates insecurity and has trouble deciding (it's not very smart) whether the foreground deserves as much space as it has been allocated.
