The 10-18mm is an ultra-wide zoom even with the 1.6x crop factor. Its EFL is 16-29mm which leaves a pretty good gap before you get to the 112mm minimum EFL of your 70-200mm lens. Canon's 10-22mm gives you a touch more reach at the long end and is a little sharper and faster. The 18-135mm is a good choice but you'll get a lot of overlap with your 70-200mm. The 17-55mm f/2.8 is Canon's sharpest EF-S lens and will slot right in under your 70-200. Sigma makes one of these as well. If you want a step up in quality, you might consider a full-frame ultrawide 'L' lens like a 17-40mm (EFL: 27-64mm) or a 16-35mm (EFL: 26-56mm) What about the 24-105 would this compliment be ok for me Canon 70D Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS

I have one that's a daily driver on a full-frame body. With a crop body, though, you get an effective focal length of 38-168mm so you're forfeiting pretty much all the wide-angle capability. Wide angle is the nemesis of APS-C sensors.

Mar 06, 2022 16:28 | #7 I assume you are willing to give up the 10mm ultra-wide coverage. I would suggest one of the 18-55 lenses (very cheap, and keep the 10-18) or the 15-85 (probably exceeds your budget.) Canon 80D, 60D, Canon 10-22EFs, 15-85EFS IS, Sigma 100-400, Sigma 135/1.8ART, Sigma 30mm f/1.4DC, Canon 60mm EFs Macro, Rokinon 8mm fisheye, 550EX flash, Olympus TG6 underwater P&S
