Perfect Bill.
You may just wonder post A1 why did I need it haha!
Seriously. You are on the level a Kodak and a beer bottle would still get you fantastic images.

My side of the lake is way way more shady and the walk down to the edge dicey. So Loki and I took the lightest (and armored) body.
Popped one of my favorite trip lenses on and slip sliding we went.

Titled 'Last throws of winter', probably not but a nice wish.
Winter up here isn't over for sure until mid-April.

I very much appreciate your comment. It means a lot to me. It's a journey for sure.

A1 arrived while I was typing this. Got to go!

Ack - I am in the A1 world....... Biggest benefit to me is less dust on the sensors as I wont be changing the 14m and 35m so much when shooting landscape and petroglyphs...... But now I need to make the investment pay and go for wildlife and more Jet photos.

I like that that the a1 has an actual physical dust cover that drops down on power off. To enable that feature (I think it may be turned off by default) go to:
Menu > Setup > Setup Option > Anti-Dust Function > Shutter when Pwr OFF .

Missed you guys/gals. And using my 30 min's of internet to check in.
We did the two weeks in Florida with my doctor and his wife. They wanted to do a trip
like Poof and I do....the get up at 0430 and get to the shoot of the day before Sun rise.
These two 'guests' are late sleeper though :) So it was a fundamental transformation of
their normal vacation haha! We covered 2600 miles in the 4R and 17 miles on foot (yep I
carried the A1+600/4 a long way). We had right at 20 stops along the way and found many
treats. I asked the doctor's Mrs what she wanted and we produced all of them (put them where
they are) with one exception; the Caracara was a bit distant. But when it was done they all
had a good time.

Also first long trip Poof and I've done without the campervan, which was strange for us, motel'ing each
night. Glad the trip was last month, the 4R loves a gas station hehe.

Anyway this one at Sebastian Inlet, we all got to meet the celebrity Mark Smith=very nice interaction with him.

Hope you all are well. Minimal check-ins lately on the internet. As soon as I got back we dropped 7 trees on the property
and lets of work to do/ran chainsaw 4 hours yesterday.
