Thanks LD, appreciate it. I was quite pleased with the shot anyway, but like him, I'll just need to try again! All birds photographed in the wild.

Lame-Duck I have indeed had pine nuts More info | Mar 20, 2022 17:47 | #1393 Holy cow, Tom...what an excellent capture! I'm sure there had to be just a tiny bit of luck involved in this Crack'in shot. This is a great capture, Tom! I've seen this event occur many times every year, and it always excites me. They dip and dive while chasing after the female...almost acting like teal, the way they fly. Truly a great close-up flight shot of the wigeon, Manny! Very nicely done. sidknee wrote in post #19357995 ![]() common buzzard I love this shot, Sid! The full spread of both wings and tail, is really appealing. You've gotta be paying this buzzard to pose for you! LD, or Mike

Thank you kindly, Paul. Your compliment is greatly appreciated. havelock wrote in post #19357811 first one for me..lovely light and wing position in alluring monochromatic light Thank you for your very kind compliment, havelock. This is a fairly common goose seen in this part of the country. Greater white-fronted geese are sought after by waterfowl hunters due to the fact that they are such excellent table fare. Thank you Sid, for your very thoughtful, encouraging comment! It's much appreciated. amyandmark3 wrote in post #19357986 What a great shot Mike!
