It may only be a leaf, but it's a great shot anyway! And so is your first shot!

Thanks LD, appreciate it. I was quite pleased with the shot anyway, but like him, I'll just need to try again!

Holy cow, Tom...what an excellent capture! I'm sure there had to be just a tiny bit of luck involved in this Crack'in shot.:-P

This is a great capture, Tom! I've seen this event occur many times every year, and it always excites me. They dip and dive while chasing after the female...almost acting like teal, the way they fly.

I love this shot, Sid! The full spread of both wings and tail, is really appealing. You've gotta be paying this buzzard to pose for you! :p

Wonderful capture of a lovely Goose seldom observed here in Florida.
Happy trails.

Thank you kindly, Paul. Your compliment is greatly appreciated.

first one for me..lovely light and wing position in alluring monochromatic light

Thank you for your very kind compliment, havelock. This is a fairly common goose seen in this part of the country. Greater white-fronted geese are sought after by waterfowl hunters due to the fact that they are such excellent table fare.
