I think Charlie will confirm that - I've been there before, just didn't recognise it initially from the sea angle.

Correct! As written, I hoped that the second image would result in a direct hit. Well done, Nic. You have control. Edited to add; not in the pub but shooting through a white fence in front of it to give the image a frame.

To speculative guessing; I agree - but there is guessing and there is guessing. Essential questioning to narrow things down or taking a chance without any research when something looks like where you have been, vs guessing and guessing in the hope of eventually being right. In my very humble and respectful opinion the previously suggested locations along the North East coast could not have been where I was. Anyway, let's move on and continue to enjoy the game for the bit of fun that it is.

Many thanks for you comments but I for one will continue to play this game the same way as I have for the past thirteen years. I agree with your final sentence, but I feel that you may be guilty yourself of taking it too seriously
