Apr 10, 2022 14:44 | #1310 Drove a few hours each way today to go look for moose. We found 4 (two cows each with a year old bull calf). It had been over 2 years since we had seen one. The ticks have ravaged them pretty badly, though but seemed healthy enough otherwise and were acting normal. Apr 13, 2022 17:50 | #1311 Got up at 2am today for another road trip and I saw 3 moose, including these two small bulls. All three were spotted from the road. My 12km hike with over 25lbs of camera gear on my back in the pouring rain resulted in nothing but a lot of moose (and some wolf) tracks and a far off otter.
