Such lovely light. Thanks Levina, luck was on my side that morning. Literally 3 minutes before sunset i was driving past beautiful grasses on a road in the Kruger Park just about to be backlit by the rising sun. I thought wow, all I need now is a subject. A couple of minutes later I came across a small pride of lions on the move with the sun behind them walking toward me. Still have to go through the all the shots but this one stood out instantly! I can’t even imagine what it would be like to live in a place where you can just go drive “on a road in the Kruger Park”. And then meeting a pride of lions? Wow. And you do photograph all the animals so well, Charles. I love your images. Wild Birds of Europe: https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?p=19371752
