While San Diego cannot compete with Oahu's North Shore, we occasionally do get a little surf here. :rolleyes: This is from Ocean Beach yesterday. That guy with no wetsuit in 59 degree water is either insensitive to pain or just on a really tight budget. :-D

This last week Santa Cruz got solid surf for three days (not including the Tsunami). All three breaks were going off, it was somewhat of a three ring circus. Following somebody with a long lens precludes you from seeing all the other action going on the different breaks. The outer break was firing around double to triple overhead (long board city). Inner and middle breaks were single overhead.

While the surf was great for the surfers, the amount of spray in the air really made editing a chore. I had to throw-out at least a third of the outer break photos from the lack of contrast / spray in the air. Anybody know a really good way to edit these type of photos (Yea, I max'ed out the de-haze adjustment in LR)?
