I was watching this Great Grey hunt a field for voles when his presence was discovered by a passing murder of crows. After he had enough of being dive bombed he took off and flew towards me- I even managed to capture one of the offending crows in the first shot

what a moment well captured..very natural..especially like the low angle on the first image..tfs

Thank you very much! I don't recall seeing brown boobies before that.

I have seen them in Caribbean Waters, while on a cruise ship. They were flying into about 40MPH head wind. The minute they turned towards the back of the ship, there was no way for me to track them, just so fast. They follow the ship and dive into the water of the wake of the ship, to do a little fishing. After about an hour I had enough, but they kept following the ship. Amazing Pelagic Birds.

Thanks, LD. You are right, it was an American Wigeon. It must have been injured as it made no attempt to escape.

Both these whimbrel shots are very nicely captured, EB! Great work.

Thanks LD, appreciate the comment.

Nice capture of dove's colors, smooth contrasting background, and super sharp. Very nice.
