It must have been injured as it made no attempt to escape. I'd bet you're right about it being injured. Bianchi wrote in post #19365100 I have seen them in Caribbean Waters, while on a cruise ship. They were flying into about 40MPH head wind. The minute they turned towards the back of the ship, there was no way for me to track them, just so fast. They follow the ship and dive into the water of the wake of the ship, to do a little fishing. After about an hour I had enough, but they kept following the ship. Amazing Pelagic Birds. Both of these are very nice captures, Joe! After he had enough of being dive bombed he took off and flew towards me- I even managed to capture one of the offending crows in the first shot Amazing captures of a gorgeous owl! Love these pics!
