Nicely done, Jack. What I particularly like is it's not the usual aviation photo.

Where was it taken? Looks like northern Arizona... specifically the Vermilion cliffs in the background.

Thanks much for your kind words! It is northern AZ, but I don't know about the cliffs. The image is geotagged. If you click on the flickr link, you'll see a map under the image that shows where I was located taking the image. You can click on the map for more detail.

I flew a formation flight with the Hurricane and Harvard yesterday. Unfortunately I was too busy concentrating to take pictures too but I did get some pictures as the Hurricanes departed back to Duxford.

That is just flight time, not including the cost of maintenance and time change parts and personnel. Cost of ownership in 2013 was $83,000 per flight hour.
Ouch.

It's only money and the tax payiers at that so not that important
