beautifully photographed Levina, really nicely composed & captured
Thank you so much, Richard!
The thing I like about threads like this they are unique to a region, even though some birds obviously migrate and cross continents.
But there's also the subtle differences between similar species that attract a different name, or just are different and often go unnoticed. To outsiders especially
Our Pipit for example, has similar looking over your way, and there's many more.
So I'd encourage but can't add photos but will sit back and enjoy
I thought about that and how it makes more sense to have a dedicated thread for birds of Australia as you have so many unique species, which is not exactly the case here as the European continent has never been cut of from the rest of the world. But Wild Birds of Australia is such a great thread, with much interaction. It's just really nice. And I was hoping that maybe that could happen in a European thread too as it would obviously be much smaller and more intimate than the big bird threads.
We'll see if others will find the thread and are willing to post in it. If not, I will at least have a great spot for my bird images as I don't think it's right to post all my image in the gear threads, which I am doing now.

Maybe I can post after the next time I'm in Europe
I hope so Jack. I for one would love to see your pics here!
By the way, I did think of "Wild Birds of the Netherlands" too, but that would have been really ridiculous!
