Yellowstone Bison & Elk

These are my two favorite wildlife shots from a Yellowstone trip this past summer.

That bison kept trying to get real close to my family and I. We were the ONLY people out driving around at 5:45-6:00AM. The Elk was during a thunderstorm late afternoon.

2X TC was used on the bison shot.

Was there last October as well. Looks like we both had great days.

We sadly had a TON of fire haze the entire week.

We got SUPER lucky on our day going to the Tetons. It was torrential pouring all the way from our place in Idaho until we got to Jackson. Then, thanks to the rain, it burned off all the haze and we got the single best day in a month to view the Tetons in all their glory. Clear blue skies.
